James V. "Jay" Scurlock, II, established Scurlock Law Firm in 2015. Jay received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Arkansas State University in 1995, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1999, and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 2000. He has been licensed to practice in Arkansas since 1999. He is a member of the Greene County Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association where he served in the House of Delegates and is a current member of the Jurisprudence and Law Reform Committee.
He specializes in estate planning, probate, business organization and compliance law, real estate, nonprofit formation and taxation. He also assists clients in forming all types of business entities such as limited liability companies, for profit corporations, and non-profit corporations. He has experience in assisting non-profit entities obtain 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. His goal is to provide personal legal service and getting clients results.
